Our History

Founded in 2024 by Russ Fogg, Island Wood Products was born with the desire to bring high-end exterior wood products and millwork to the Lowcountry.

In 2005 Russ began his career in exterior lumber sales in West Kingston, Rhode Island with Liberty Cedar Exterior Wood Products.  Shortly after, he met his wife Kristi and moved down to Charleston to open a new division servicing custom homebuilders throughout Charleston's various barrier islands.  After 13 years in retail sales and an additional 6 years in wholesale building products with both Garden State Lumber and East End Cedar, Russ decided to pursue his dreams and start Island Wood Products.  

With over 19 years of experience in the lumber industry, Russ's product knowledge, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to only the highest quality materials sets us apart from the competition.
